About Baltics Worldwide

Baltics Worldwide is an independent travel planning site for Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. It is written for first-time visitors who want to know when to go, where to stay, and how to get between Tallinn, Riga and Vilnius without guessing.

What we cover

The guides cover the seasons, hotels and neighborhoods, sample itineraries, Baltic cruises, ferries, flights, car hire and rail, plus a detailed section on Tallinn and a few buying guides for guidebooks and packing. Each guide answers the main question near the top, then gives the detail behind it.

How the guides are researched

We check travel facts against official sources first. That means the national tourism boards (Visit Estonia, Latvia Travel and Lithuania Travel), the EU’s own travel portal, airport and port operators, and the ferry, rail and cruise companies’ own pages. Weather figures come from the national weather services.

We do not invent prices, ratings or availability. Timetables, fares and entry rules change, so every guide tells you to confirm the detail with the operator or official source before you book. Each page shows the month it was last updated.

Independence

We are not a booking service, and no hotel, ferry line or cruise company pays to appear in a guide. A few buying guides, such as our picks of Baltic guidebooks and what to pack for a Baltic cruise, link to products at a retailer. Those picks are chosen from published product details, not hands-on testing, and never show prices. Our affiliate disclosure explains how the links work.
